The number of participants in a DSS (Dynamic Solution Structuring) is determined by the topic and the client's preference for involving more or fewer employees, managers, and experts (internal and external) in the process. The number of participants often emerges “automatically” during the collaborative process of defining the opening question.
Common group sizes range from 20 to 50 participants, but DSSs with up to 160 participants have also been conducted.
DSSs are typically held over two days; in some cases, three days have been used due to the complexity of the issue. DSSs are ideally suited to be complemented with additional creative methods. The RMS team, led by Markus Ruiz, will be happy to advise you and ensure the smooth execution of your DSS.
